Happy New Year! Have you identified your 2019 resolutions? What will you be chasing after? More money? Better health? Achieving your personal dream? Making a positive difference in the world?
Given the breakdown of civility and compassion in 2018, I thought it fitting to focus on how we as human beings can reach out and encourage one another. The philosopher Plato once said “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.”
With that in mind, I’d like to introduce you to Clark Hodge, Executive Director of Chase The Music, an organization that commissions original music for children battling critical conditions and hosts live events where the music is performed in honor of the child. In our first episode of the new year, Clark shares what inspired his mission and tells stories that will warm even the coldest heart. He also describes the special relationships that develop between the children, composers and the child’s family. It is through creating unique community experiences that Clark seeks to foster love, hope, strength and joy.
