Animated video of industry stats and quotes used for content marketing and speaking engagements. First presented at the 2011 Fall NIBA Conference. Received the Killer Content Award at the G3 Communications’ 2012 Content2Conversion Conference.
Researched, co-wrote and storyboarded presentation. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop were used to design and storyboard. Adobe After Effects was used to animate and render final production.
Music was composed and performed in Propellerheads Reason.
Video tells the story of the decline of customer trust and the rise of content marketing as a means of reaching customers and building trust. At the time, social media was largely unexplored in the Financial Services space. This was essentially a wakeup call to a new sales/marketing paradigm.
Through the use of statistics, quotes and events of the day, the power of social media was illustrated and its potential for sales and marketing spotlighted.
